About this Exhibit
Like all art, mine is a series of explorations and disclosures, tempered with editing and concealment.
My paintings are benedictions. They aren't pictures. My paintings are marks in time. Each day I get up. I am a viewer to my own work. I concern myslef with no autobiographical notions. I don't have a story to tell. I practive a lot. I write letters.
The worst way for me to start a painting is with an idea.
Today, the only stories interesting are the half told ones... the ones that aren't over. I like the idea of covering up intensely. I like the idea of missing information.
