David Sugihara My name is David Sugihara and I was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. In 1997, I moved to Tacoma to attend the University of Puget Sound and graduated in the Spring of 2001 with a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts. As a sophomore, I won the art department's student competition "Gallery Award" for my black and white photograph, "Hangers". During my Junior yeat, I was lucky enough to spend my spring semester studying abroad at Temple University's Tyler School of Art in Rome.
