Mallory Pilcher
My name is Mallory Pilcher. The artwork you're viewing includes a series of self-portraits and intaglio prints. I'm interested in identity and how we create it, layer it and analyze it within the parameters of metaphors and spaces we visit. Most of my work is highly personal and emotionally charged. I use layers as a visual representation of how I create my own self, but also how we seam together thoughts and events.
I graduated in 2007 from Western Washington University with a degree in Fine Arts/Art History. I currently serve Tacoma's finest as a local bartender and Northender while working at home in mixed media.
