These Sea Foam pieces are part of a series begun at Pilchuck Glass Studio in the summer of 2004. The inspiration for these pieces comes from WWII-era sea mines that occasionally break free of their moorings and float into the open ocean. The pieces are blown glass, with aa cold patina surface treatment and a fabricated steel stand.
